I’m in India in the blink of an eye. Back in Goleta, Zahra has a cat sitter who takes her out on nature walks on a harness and leash, though they are still struggling a bit to connect. My little nephew here is enjoying the dinosaur sticker book and the nature activity cards—together we’ve found spider webs and hugged old trees. It is good to be with family. I am finishing revisions to the Fall syllabi, getting ready to dive into grading final papers, and continuing with other teaching/advising responsibilities. 3am is still afternoon for my circadian cycle.
In the meantime, a few events have beautifully come together, thanks to the graciousness of so many friends and organizers. The first and the last of these is in Bangalore. If you are in any of these cities, maybe I will see you around! Some of the details will be available on my website/social pages as they get firmed up.
